YOUTH OF THE YEAR NIGERIA 2015

Tobi Aworinde is a Journalist who
went undercover to gather evidence and expose mass cheating in the 2015 NECO Senior Secondary certificate Exams with incontrovertibly evidence (including Video recordings) of how exam magic centres and fraud syndicates operate. His award winning story, was published in November 8 edition of Sunday Punch, titled  “Punch Undercover  Reporter  Exposes Mass Cheating at NECO Miracle  Centre”

On the quest to fight Corruption, he embarked on a risky but courageous quest to investigate and expose the doings of some schools in Nigeria, of which NODOS College in Lagos was a “scape goat”. Today, due to the practical evidence of his work, pictures and videos, the school is presently under lock and key by the Lagos state Government.

Tobi is a graduate of Bowen University and currently work as a correspondent for Punch Nigeria Limited.

On the 10th of December, He won the Exam Ethics Marshals International Awards for Best Investigative Journalist.

He is my 2015 Youth of the year for taking a risk and embarking on a branch of Journalism most Practitioners run away from, And getting result.
